Following assessment, if Louise and the parents feel it to be appropriate, treatment can follow. This is developed in collaboration with the child and the parents. Louise is happy to liaise with teachers about setting up communication programmes within school if desired.
Louise uses a modified approach of Lis'n Tell for individual children, always taking into account the interests of the child and the priorities of the parents/school where possible.
Louise has been trained in PECS and Makaton and passed stage one
of BSL.
