live inclusive storytelling....a bridge to literacy, an approach to communication

with Louise Coigley
Speech and Language Therapist
Storyteller

During the last two years, Louise has been invited to run a series of Lis'n Tell workshops for the Early Years Teaching and Support Service of East Sussex County Council. These have been attended by teachers, parents, nurses, speech and language therapists, educational psychologists and FISS(Family Intensive Support Team) workers. Feedback has been extremely positive.

In 2006, Louise gave a series of three workshops at the Brighton Sussex Medical School, to the Teachers of Medicine, to medical students and at the GP conference 'Celebrating Primary Care'.

"The session was a knockout! It gave me so much to think about...I'll need days if not years to process it. Some people are working on the surface, but your work has such depth and resonance that it is really important that more people know about it."

Dr Norman Alm, University of Dundee
Key note speaker, Australian National Conference of Speech Pathololgy, Sydney May 07

''I am blown away at how effective this has been as a team building exercise!'' Nita Madhani, Head SaLT, Redbridge PCT, following a two day Lis'n Tell training for Paediatric SaLTs, March 08.
